Recommended Positioning

When monitoring temperature rates of rise and the fixed upper temperature, it is recommended that the sensor be fitted at a central point on the ceiling (Max height 2.6m), away from doors, windows and clear from light fittings.

When monitoring cold conditions it is recommended that the sensor be fitted to a wall and within 50cm of the area or being protected preferably away from draughts and avoiding locations that could expose the sensor to accidental damage. Always ensure that the sensor locations offer a good radio transmission path to the host unit.
